I’m trying to eat gluten free as much as possible where I’m finding it’s helping me with my autoimmune disease (Hashimoto’s). Most gluten free flours are made with rice and where I have chronic toxicity possibly from household poisons eating rice that certainly has arsenic in it, no matter how small, isn’t a good aim for me, especially where I’ve felt my body go on fire too many times now-the worst recent with my daily loved piece of cacao that I found so many benefits in. But cacao is high is saturated fats, which lights the match for me now. I almost had a heart attack. I meditated my way through it and used my Reiki. I then threw the cacao out-the entire rest of the $4 bar.
I found other flours like almond, corn, and oat, but their consistency can be difficult to deal with. Where a lot of recipes call for oil, coconut-too high in saturated fat and can start a flame effect in my body like striking a match from this, and avocado would be the next best choice-pricey, olive is too bitter, though I’ve used it, I searched for alternatives.
I found applesauce as one as well as many others. I found flaxseeds interesting.I may try my flaxseed meal at one point too. I’ve tried applesauce before for baking and it came out great. I’m going to continue to try it with these gluten free alternatives. I’ll share the new recipes here.
